Clermont Auvergne University
Introduction
Clermont-Auvergne University is a French university located in Clermont-Ferrand, in Auvergne (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region). It was founded in 2017 by the merger of the universities of Auvergne (Clermont-I) and Blaise-Pascal (Clermont-II), themselves resulting in 1976 from the University of Clermont dating back to the 19th century. It obtained the "Label I-Site" in 2017 and became an experimental public establishment (EPE) in 2021.
